Our beloved Dan Dalke

Michael, the children and I have been in Atlanta for just over a week now to spend time with my in laws and be a part of my brother in laws last days here on earth.

Here is one of the songs Zackery played for Dans service

Home (Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros)

Alabama Arkansas I do Love my Ma & Pa
Not the way that I do Love you
Holy Moly Me oh My your the apple of my eye
Kids, I've never loved two like you
Man o man you're my best friend, I scream it to the nothingness
there ain't nothing that I need.
Hot & heavy pumpkin pie chocolate candy Jesus Christ
Ain't nothing please me more then you.
Home, let me go home, home is wherever I'm with you.
Lalalala take me home
Mama I'm coming home
I follow you into the park, through the jungle through the dark
Kids I've never loved two like you.
Moats & boats & waterfalls, alleyways & payphone calls
I been everywhere with you (thats true)
laugh until we think we'll die, barefoot on a summer night
Nothing new is sweeter than with you
And in the streets you run free, like it's only you & me,
Geez, you're something to see.
Home, let me go home, home is wherever I'm with you
Lalalala take me home
Daddy I'm coming home.

We will forever keep Dan in our memory.
Char & Cal will always be a part of our lives and we will always celebrate their Dads life with them

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. Praying God's comfort as you journey through the grieving process of tears, laughter, sweet memories, and the missing of Dan.

Finally Dan is free. Free to be an angel I would suspect. It seems to me he is a care-giver. Love to you my friend. And pick up the pennies from heaven♥
