Just a few photos

My art is going up this Thursday at The Glenwood
With so much going on this summer I don't know how I've managed to paint anything.

This photo is of the Round Robin I did a few months back, this one is mine

and this one is Granny's
I think in the end we were all very happy with what we started with and what we ended up with.
A few more weeks and Cal & Char will be back :  ) and we decided to do my art show that week.

Back to painting

p.s. as I gather the paintings that I'll be taking this Thursday I hope to do a photo with them all.

Keep cool

I never knew being an aunt would mean so much to me

I love the way Hannah's hair is laying
I love Chars curls and unwashed hair (bathing at Aunt Lisa's is rarely mandatory).
I love that you can see my earrings that Char is wearing.
I love their BIG sunglasses
their pink and yellow shirts
The leaning in is probably what I love best, I could never have asked for these two to care and enjoy each other so much.

Michael & I leave for a trip to Washington DC for a long weekend
Mike has an event that will keep him busy during the days of Sun, Mon, and Tuesday
I will spend my time exploring art museums!

A big thank you to everyone who has shared supportive words, sent lovely thoughtful cards
This has meant a lot to us while we mourn the loss of Dan
and learn to celebrate his life.

Alabama Arkansas I do Love my Ma & Pa
Not the way that I do Love you
Holy Moly Me oh My your the apple of my eye
Kids, I've never loved two like you
Man o man you're my best friend, I scream it to the nothingness
there ain't nothing that I need.
Hot & heavy pumpkin pie chocolate candy Jesus Christ
Ain't nothing please me more then you.
Home, let me go home, home is wherever I'm with you.
Lalalala take me home
Mama I'm coming home
I follow you into the park, through the jungle through the dark
Kids I've never loved two like you.
Moats & boats & waterfalls, alleyways & payphone calls
I been everywhere with you (thats true)
laugh until we think we'll die, barefoot on a summer night
Nothing new is sweeter than with you
And in the streets you run free, like it's only you & me,
Geez, you're something to see.
Home, let me go home, home is wherever I'm with you
Lalalala take me home
Daddy I'm coming home.

We will forever keep Dan in our memory.
Char & Cal will always be a part of our lives and we will always celebrate their Dads life with them
