Just stomping by

I'm still working in my kitchen : / blah
but wanted to share something and I thought of my boots
The boots that I must say goodbye to
I do have another pair, just like these, actually I've had this second pair for almost a year now
but always wanted to wear these
but now they hurt my baby toe
So they must go

Wondering....hmmmm
Where can I adhere those buckles
: )
Have a good weekend

Are those Frye boots? I know someone who totally loves boots just like that. Most of mine are Justin or Ariat cowboy boots, or lately, snow boots. I LOVE boots, so it's always heartbreaking for me to have to give a pair up too. I feel your pain -- ;)

Oh Rena, so nice to know I'm not alone in my pain : ) Yes they are Frye. I replaced them with the exact pair and added a pair from a co. called Old Gringo : ) I live in my boots : )

Oh the boots look very well loved and I bet your a little sad to let them go. Looking at them and thinking the leather still looks beautiful and such a shame. Do you have recycling? I do not know exactly what and how boots and shoes could be recycled.

Thank you Lisa for your comment. Don't worry about not knowing what to say. I know I write parts of my life that some people find strange. Not saying you do. I do not mind if you just read my post and didn't know what to think. Honestly I get like this also.
I really think I am on another planet, lol!
My world doesn't ring right with the norm.
I do listen sometimes to conversations on buses etc and hear young people talking about how strange they knew things were going to happen before it did. I just smile to myself. Everyone is on a journey.

I had 2 pairs of Frye boots in the 70's, 80's and I miss them so much.
I keep saying I'm going to get another pair but then I don't I settle for something less expensive;
then I'm disappointed:(
SO I should just go ahead and buy a pair. Your's look well loved.
And the buckle should DEFINITELY go on a mixed media piece, they are worthy of recycling into a wonderful new life as art!
