A different guitar

I needed to walk away from the bass guitar on Sunday

Sometimes I get too tense and need to step away...so I did

Walked out to the garage and found this sitting there waiting for me,

so I spent Sunday painting a (real) guitar just for the fun of it.

My 100th post : ) took me just over a year

Here is a photo of our little OREO

He was the kitty we brought back from our trip to VT

OREO has done nothing but win the hearts of most all that walk through the doors. Here he lays in the "scrap" basket in the art room.

And last but not least ... my guitar

I finally decided to paint the body a red, a red mixed with a little paynes grey.

The photo looks so orange : /

I hope to be done with this by next weekend so that it can go to its new home : )

Here is the guitar I was commissioned to do for a bass player in Zacks band

I like the background, but I'm a bit stumped with the body of the bass...We'll see what comes of it
I've also been making some journals
I'll post some pics of those later when the sun is out.
