I have spent the week on the phone, either making appointments or getting things in writing
In my spare time I started a large sketch that will be for the 4X5 canvas that will hang in our church : )
I also came across a portfolio bag that was holding all these canvas boards from 2004
This was from my sons 8th grade graduationI look at it now and think...gosh he has grownand how far my painting has come.Lisa

Oh, those are really neat. I bet it's fun to compare your artwork from year to year. With writing, it's kind of the same way.
Wow! I love your big, bold, colorful art!
I love the sketch for your tree, I feel that there is a freer motion in your pencil strokes. Were you doing this to music?
I had forgotten about this painting of "the boy", it makes me miss him!
I'm starting a tree today with Ray as the trunk and hopefully the branches filled with baby birds in their nest and even a nest with eggs.
I'm feeling it will represent all the care taking Ray has done for the last year between Dan and now me.
I'll see how this evolves, I often start with an idea and vision and it takes on a life of it's own.
Hi Lisa ~ Stopping by through your link on Year of Color blog. Love your art, see the same thing with mine...how it's evolved. Sometimes I look at something I made years earlier and say to myself "what was I thinking?" Then I realize that I had to learn to crawl before I could walk, walk before I could run...
