I think the flower is one of my favorites : ) I plan to coat the card in wax, so he can hold it and maybe rub it or I don't know...like a prayer card type of thing..I know he worries. Thanks for always having a comment for me Chris : ) Lisa
Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. I like your art, very colorful, full of life... I like especially the flower. I like the texture in it. I am working on some illustrations for a children's book in which I have to paint a big white flower with a pink butterfly on top of it. I would love the flower to have some texture like yours. Any hints? are welcome. Flor
Love the orange flower w/the red center, I agree that the texture is wonderful!
I don't know what ATC stands for, I think it may be "artist ----card"? Anyway it's wonderful and right on the mark for Cal at this time. He is carrying a great weight on those very slender shoulders.
I can hardly wait to see you all in Atlanta for Thanksgiving...it will truly be a "THANKS GIVING". I know how quickly the time will go especially since you will be packing it with so many creative activities. Charlotte said the other day that she knew she would be doing art with Auntie Lisa, and I said "you betcha"...oh, gag me that sounds way like I'm kinda running for vice president...YIKES! I've been in this red state too long...bring me an Obama sticker for the car, I've got to fight back.
Oh Granny you crack me up! We are all looking forward to being there, and my lil Char Char Binx : ) Maybe we should get a canvas that all the kids can work on as a collaborative.
Hope you don't mind You have been tagged. 7 random things people don't know about you. Don't worry if you don't have time or do not wish to do this. Love to hear from you. Please see my blog fo info.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen you posting lately! I thought I had added your blog into my subscriptions but obviously I didn't.
That's really swee tof you to make an atc for your little nephew. A parent being sick is always so frightening, especially when you are young.
I just love the flower piece! You've got great texture in it. I really like how rich you were able to get the colors.
