We moved to this house the year Jake was born and decided to make a memorial garden for him. So when we had patio installed in the back yard, they took the dirt and made a HUGE flower bed in the back of our huge backyard.

Here are just a few pics, I will take more this week.

I hope to have some art to show you soon.

I've been busy making art for the teachers & staff that have been such great people to Hannah & I while she has been in middle school.

I painted this 24 X 24 canvas with black gesso........and it sat there leaning against the table

Nothing was coming to me.....a big black canvas

Well yesterday (2wks later) I decided to try and paint on this black thing

and am very pleased with my zinnia

10 Years ago today

Today my son Jake would have turned 10.

He was removed from life support after 2 weeks

Jake had something called Gastroskises

I found this cheapy painting at the thrift the other day

not my typical type of art, but this girl called out to me and I decided to take her home. She has been sitting in the art room with me. Maybe to help me get through this time of mourning.
This is one of my mother paintings I did at Christmas time

Sorry for being distant and not very artful

but be assured I am still creating, just keeping some of it private.

Our trip to Texas

Our trip to Texas was a good one. My sister has been living there for about two yrs now and our mother had not been able to visit her until now and what fun we had. My sister is a makeup artist, her she is with Hannah after Hannah's makeup session
